I believe that my painted designs are original – painted a wooden shaped fish etc is not – but I have never seen the type of patterns and the way I put them together anywhere else – I can’t think of anything I am influence by either as I just ‘come up’ with the designs as I start to paint.

is it worth me thinking more seriously about this?
I’ve bookmarked Creative Commons but not read it in depth.

any advice?

i give up after the third page if I see loads more following!
You can always ‘fix’ the keywords so they appear as sections – but does anyone use those keyword bits anyway – I’ve always said that they just mess up and page and look complicated.

the shops do need definite sections.

perhaps if you sell children’s jewellery, for instance, you could just call it “very small size’ and let the buyer do the working out for themselves!!!

My view on all this is that the world is going mad …. I’ll make stuff and sell it to whoever will buy it until no one buys it anymore or I can’t sell it anymore. I don’t wholesale anywhere anyway – the exchange rates suck – (for some reason I get wholesale enquiries from Spain alot) – I don’t supply any shops with my things …... and I refuse to worry about it because I don’t understand it! sticks head in sand

(and, yet again, I am signed in under the wrong shop here! I’m talking about my Half an Acre stuff!!)

I’d not paid much attention to shop keywords either but I’ve just had a look, seen how they work (I think!). Like Fibrespace I thought they would take you away from the shop. So do you have a limited number on your shop page and if so, do you need to do what NiftyKnits has done, edit some out to ensure you get the most important on?

I do think it is confusing to have shop keywords in one place and then in the same place on a item listing to have links that take you back out of the particular shop.

Perhaps the way to go is with using the word ‘section’ rather than ‘keyword’?
